About this beach

Hat Arunothai is a quiet, east-facing beach at Pak Tako in Chumphon’s Thung Tako district, where traditional fishing life is still part of the scene. A shrine to Prince Chumphon stands by the shore, and colourful fishing boats head out from the river mouth at the southern end. Pine trees line the white sand and it is known for sunrise views, while the nearby river often leaves the water murky.
