Ao Bo Mao is a long sandy beach on the Pathio coast, close to Chumphon Airport. Shade trees line the shore alongside small bungalow resorts and seafood restaurants, and the view reaches across the water to the island of Ko Khai and the Laem Thaen headland. Boats to Ko Khai can be hired from the beach. Waves can build during the monsoon.
