Hat Laem Son runs north from the Lang Suan river mouth at Pak Nam Lang Suan, a fishing community in Chumphon; its southern end is also called Hat Pak Nam Lang Suan. A large replica warship dedicated to Prince Chumphon stands in a park behind that end, and seafood restaurants and resorts are dotted along the coastal road that continues north towards Bang Nam Chuet.
