Thong Krut is a shore of about 1.5 km on Koh Samui’s south coast, between Thong Tanod and Bang Kao, with the fishing village of Ban Thong Krut at its eastern end. A channel cut through the shallows serves the boats that take visitors to Koh Tan and Koh Madsum. The coarse, almost pebbly sand gives way to a very shallow, stony flat that is exposed at low tide, and several seafood restaurants overlook the water.
