About this beach
Ban Tai is a beach of roughly one kilometre on Koh Samui’s north coast, between Bang Po and Mae Nam, from which a small rocky cape separates it. One half has fine, pale sand scattered with shells, while the other, covered with rocks and boulders, is mainly good for walks. Stones and underwater vegetation line much of the shallows.
