Tham Thong Beach is an open strand of about 8 km running north from Ban Tham Thong towards Bang Boet on the Pathio coast. A tree-lined coastal road runs alongside, well suited to a drive or bike ride. Behind the shore rises a coastal dune system of around 10 km, crossed by a nature trail through dune vegetation. The dunes are unshaded and get very hot at midday; waves can build in the monsoon.
