Thale Nok Beach is a long, straight shore stretching for several kilometres along the Suk Samran coast of Ranong, inside Laem Son National Park, and faces west over the Andaman Sea. It lies a short walk from Ban Thale Nok, a Muslim fishing village known for community homestays, net fishing from the beach and mangrove boat trips. A memorial by the shore honours those lost in the 2004 tsunami.
