Ao Kai Tao is a small sandy bay on the south-west coast of Koh Chang in Ranong, where Mu Ko Ranong National Park has a ranger station. It can only be reached by boat or on forest trails; the hike between Ao Tadaeng and Ao Siad via the bay takes at least two hours, with steep climbs. A trail from the station climbs to a 390 m summit, the national park’s highest point.
