Ao Hin Khao is a sandy bay of about 800 m on Koh Phayam’s north-east coast, north of the main pier; its Thai name means “white rock bay”. The beach faces east towards the mainland. A side road reaches the middle of the shore, and a resort sits at its southern end. Sea conditions vary with the tide and the monsoon, so check local advice.
