Ao Khao Kwai South is the southern shore of Buffalo Bay on Koh Phayam’s northwest coast: about 1 km of white sand that widens at low tide. Mangroves begin at its western end near the island’s Moken village, and the Hin Talu viewpoint lies just beyond its eastern end, where the shore curves north towards the bay’s northern beach. Guesthouses and a seafront restaurant sit behind it; the bay is quieter than Ao Yai.
