About this beach

Ao Khao Kwai North is the northern stretch of Buffalo Bay (Ao Khao Kwai) on Koh Phayam’s north-west coast, about 3.5 km from the main pier. A long curve of flat, white sand is lined with bungalow resorts, beach bars and restaurants, yet the bay stays quieter than Ao Yai. Rocks emerge at the northern end at low tide, and local advice should be followed during the monsoon.
