Taling Ngam runs for several kilometres along Koh Samui’s quiet west coast, from the headland that separates it from Lipa Noi south to Phang Ka. The sand is coarse and yellow-brown, and the seabed is covered with stones and coral fragments. Sunsets over the Five Sisters islets draw visitors, and one stretch with small shoreline caves can only be walked at low tide.
