About this beach

Suan Son Pradiphat lies south of Khao Takiab hill, about 9 km from Hua Hin town, in an area supervised by the Royal Thai Army. Its name refers to the casuarina trees that shade the shore. The army runs the food courts, cafés, showers, toilets and lodging, and a Bryde’s whale skeleton is displayed at the entrance. Popular with Thai families, it is quieter than central Hua Hin.
