About this beach
Laem Sala is a white-sand bay in Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park, backed by pine trees and enclosed by a horseshoe of hills. The islet of Ko Sattakut lies offshore and breaks the waves, so the bay feels calm and quiet. Access is by boat from Bang Pu or on a rocky trail over the hill, and the climb to Phraya Nakhon Cave starts here.
