About this beach
Hat Khung Sai is a tiny, secluded cove on the seaward side of Khao Kalok hill, within the wooded Thao Kosa Forest Park. It is reached on foot by a rocky nature trail of about 1 km from the southern end of Khao Kalok Beach, roughly a 15-minute walk. The cove faces the sunrise, and the path and rocks require care.
