Khao Tao Beach stretches for about 2 km north of Khao Tao hill, continuing the coastline that runs south from Khao Takiab. Its southern end near the hill is home to a fishing community whose boats line the shore, while the northern part has resorts, cafés and seafood restaurants. The sand widens at low tide, and the beach looks out towards the sunrise.
