About this beach
Silver Beach, also called Thong Ta Khian or Crystal Bay, is a cove of about 300 m between Lamai and Chaweng, enclosed at both ends by large rounded boulders. Its pale, almost white sand is mixed with shells and coral fragments, and the seabed shelves gently. Resorts cover the hillside behind, and the sand is usually reached through hotel grounds, where loungers are reserved for guests.
