About this beach
Sai Khao is a white-sand beach on the south-eastern tip of Koh Rawi, looking across to neighbouring Koh Adang, and the site of a Tarutao National Park ranger station. The island has no accommodation, so the beach is mainly a stop on snorkelling day trips; coral surrounds the shore and is partly exposed at low tide. The area closes to visitors every year from mid-May, reopening in October or November.
