Ao Pante Malacca is a long bay of white sand on Koh Tarutao’s north-west coast, home to the national park headquarters, a visitor centre with exhibits on the island’s nature and history, and the pier where boats on the Pak Bara–Koh Lipe route stop. It is a well-known sunset spot, and a trail climbs to the Pha To Bu viewpoint. The park closes to visitors each year during the south-west monsoon.
