Pharadonphap is a long, curving sandy beach running about 3 km south-east from the fishing town of Pak Nam Chumphon, backed by a coconut-lined shore road with restaurants, hotels and a fishing village. Its name means ‘brotherhood’, recalling a Thai–Japanese accord said to have been reached here during the Second World War. The northern end turns rocky, and a fuel depot stands at the southern end.
