About this beach
Pattaya Beach is Koh Lipe’s main beach, a broad bay curving along the south coast with soft, powdery white sand and clear water. Coral grows close to shore, so snorkelling is possible straight from the sand. Resorts, restaurants and bars line the bay, which is livelier at night than the island’s other beaches. Boats to and from the island also land here, so watch for boat traffic when snorkelling.
