About this beach
Pak Meng is a long, crescent-shaped sand beach in Sikao district, about 35–40 km from Trang town, backed by a line of casuarina trees. Offshore, the island of Koh Meng is said to resemble a giant lying on his back. At low tide the firm sand stretches up to about 500 m out. Seafood restaurants line the beach road, and the pier serves boats to Koh Muk, Koh Kradan and Koh Ngai.
