Ao Niang is a white-sand bay near the southern end of Koh Kradan, south of the national park ranger station. Coral runs along the whole beach, so the water just offshore is popular for snorkelling, and Koh Libong can be seen across the sea. A beachfront restaurant serves Thai food on the bay, and most of the island lies within Hat Chao Mai National Park.
