Haad Sabai is a tiny cove of tan sand on Koh Mook’s remote west coast, tucked between forested cliffs that shelter its emerald water. There is no road: visitors arrive by longtail boat, sometimes as a stop on trips to the Emerald Cave, or on a steep jungle trail of around two hours from the island’s north-east. Flotsam often collects on the sand.
