About this beach

Emerald Cave Beach is a small crescent of pale sand hidden inside a collapsed sinkhole on Koh Mook’s west coast, enclosed by sheer limestone cliffs and jungle. It is reached only from the sea, by swimming or paddling through a dark cave about 80 metres long whose water glows emerald. A major stop on island tours, it can be crowded at peak times, and the passage depends on the tide.
