Mae Nam is a long beach on Koh Samui’s north coast, between Ban Tai to the west and Bophut to the east, looking across the water to Koh Phangan. Its loose, very soft golden sand lies beneath an almost continuous coconut palm grove. It is quieter than Chaweng, while the village behind offers restaurants, shops and accommodation for every budget.
