About this beach
Laem Nan Beach is a narrow strand at the foot of the headland at the northern end of Lamai Bay, between Lamai and Silver Beach, framed by large rounded boulders and backed almost entirely by resorts. The sea stays very shallow a long way out, so the tide is very noticeable, and stones and silt lie beyond the sandy edge. A side road ends at a small car park, from where a short path leads to the sand.
