Koh Phithak is a small island about 1 km off the Lang Suan coast, home to a traditional fishing community that runs homestays. Away from the village on the western shore, a small, partly rocky sandy beach lies on the island's eastern side. A sand ridge that appears at low tide can be walked, and the community protects the sea turtles that nest on the island.
