About this beach

Koh Madsum, also known as Pig Island, is a small, narrow islet off Koh Samui’s south coast, just east of Koh Tan, and can be crossed on foot. A strip of white sand runs along its north-western shore almost to the northern tip, with coral nearby for snorkelling. Pigs roam the island and are fed by visitors; larger ones are best fed by placing food on the ground. Access is by boat only.
