About this beach
This long, narrow strip of golden sand lines Koh Libong’s south-west coast at the fishing village of Ban Lang Khao, home to most of the island’s few resorts and a few restaurants. At low tide the sea draws back hundreds of metres, exposing rock pools. Koh Libong, Trang’s largest island, is known as one of Thailand’s most important dugong refuges, thanks to its extensive seagrass meadows.
