About this beach

Koh Hin Ngam is a small islet southwest of Koh Adang in Tarutao National Park, about 20 minutes by longtail from Koh Lipe. Instead of sand, its shore is covered with smooth, rounded grey-black stones that gleam when wet. A local legend says the stones are cursed, and taking them away is forbidden; visitors who stack them are asked to spread them back over the beach afterwards.
