Ko Khai is a small wooded island off the Pathio coast, reached by longtail boat in under 20 minutes from the mainland. Its beach is a white sand spit on the western side, mixed with coral fragments, and the surrounding reef is visited for snorkelling, with giant clams among the marine life. Boats are arranged through the Ban Hin Kop fishing community; sea conditions should be checked before crossing.
