About this beach

Hat Sai Ri is a long, tree-lined sandy beach about 20 km south-east of Chumphon town. At its northern end, a hillside shrine honours Prince Chumphon, revered as the father of the Royal Thai Navy, and the decommissioned torpedo boat HTMS Chumphon is displayed ashore as a memorial. Restaurants line the shore under the trees, Ko Maphrao lies offshore and rocks show in places at low tide.
