Hat Lok Phae is a small, sheltered sandy cove near Ban Ao Khram in Sawi district, backed by wooded hills and set among attractive rock formations; small local fishing boats sometimes moor in the bay. It is managed by Mu Ko Chumphon National Park, which keeps a ranger station here. The water is clear; waves can pick up in rough weather, so conditions should be checked before going in.
