About this beach

Ao Tadaeng is a small west-facing cove just south of Ao Yai on Koh Chang in Ranong, reached on foot from the southern end of the long beach by crossing a creek and a low saddle. Large granite boulders frame both ends, and a few bungalow operations with restaurants sit behind the sand. A forest trail heads south from the far end towards Ao Kai Tao.
