Mapak Indah is a west-facing stretch of shore on the western edge of Mataram, in the Jempong Baru area. It is known for its sunsets and for a sea turtle hatchery by the beach, with food stalls and toilets along the front. The coast suffers from erosion, so protective works can be seen in places, and sea conditions deserve care.
