Pandanan is a quiet stretch of pale sand on Lombok’s north-west coast, north of Malimbu and reached by a motorbike ride along the coastal road from Senggigi. The water is clear and the shore looks out toward the Gili Islands, with coconut palms for shade and a few small warungs. Visitors are few, and rough seas in the rainy season can wash litter ashore.
