Woonona Beach

Woonona Beach is a long sandy ocean beach on the Illawarra coast north of Wollongong. The shoreline runs south of Woonona Rock Pool towards Bellambi and is used for swimming and surfing, particularly at its northern end. Nearby facilities include parking, toilets, showers, a children’s playground and cafes. As an open-coast beach, conditions can vary, so visitors should assess the water before entering.
