Boyds Jones Beach
- Family friendly
- Surf spot
Boyds Jones Beach is the sandy Kiama Downs shoreline between Minnamurra Headland and the basalt columns of Cathedral Rocks. Also known locally as Jones Beach and Boyd Beach, it is an established place for surfing and swimming with a relaxed residential-reserve setting. The foreshore reserve provides a shaded playground, picnic tables, parking and public toilets, while a southern section permits off-leash dogs during designated periods. Open-coast conditions can change, so swimmers and surfers should consider the day’s signs and local warnings before entering the water.
