Bombo Beach

Bombo Beach is a sandy beach about 1.2 kilometres long, stretching between Bombo Headland and Pheasant Point on the Kiama coast. Its ocean exposure and sandbars create consistent surf, but strong rips can make swimming hazardous, so conditions should be assessed before entering the water. Free entry, parking, public toilets, showers and a picnic area support a straightforward visit. The nearby former quarry, basalt formations and rocky headland add distinctive scenery for walking and photography.
