Tomahawk Beach

Tomahawk Beach lies on Tasmania’s north-east coast, facing Ringarooma Bay and the Furneaux islands. Sandy shores, broad dunes and accessible bushland give the coastal settlement a quiet, nature-focused character, with swimming, snorkelling, shore fishing and exploration around the rocky edges. Dorset Council lists a playground, toilets and a jetty at the beach. The shoreline is unpatrolled, so visitors should assess waves and local conditions carefully, particularly when swimming with children.
