Bakers Beach
Bakers Beach is a long, open sandy beach within Narawntapu National Park on Tasmania’s central north coast. Coastal heathlands and grasslands, wetlands and dry sclerophyll woodland create a varied backdrop, with wildlife, beachcombing and walking routes extending the visit beyond the shoreline. The beach is reached via Bakers Beach Road, and the park provides parking, picnic facilities and toilets, with additional facilities at Bakers Point. Swimming and line fishing are popular, but the beach is unpatrolled and ocean conditions can vary. Tides and large swell may restrict parts of the coast, and swimming is excluded from the watercraft launch area.
