Boobyalla Beach

Boobyalla Beach is a long sandy shore on Ringarooma Bay in north-east Tasmania. Its coastal setting combines broad dune country with rocky outcrops, headlands and the nearby Ringarooma River inlet, while the Boobyalla Conservation Area protects a large reserve in the surrounding landscape. Visitor access is remote and relies on an unsealed 4WD track from the Cape Portland Road area; a rough car park, picnic table and basic bush toilet are recorded near the access walk. With few services on site, visitors should plan and carry what they need.
