Shelly Beach
Shelly Beach is a small natural shore near Apollo Bay, reached from the Great Ocean Walk through Great Otway National Park. The medium-grade track passes fern gullies and coastal scrub before reaching a sandy patch beside rocky platforms and tide-dependent rock pools. The nearby picnic area provides parking and toilets. Some coastal sections should only be attempted at low tide and in calm seas; the beach is unpatrolled, so swimming conditions require careful judgement.
