Penguin Beach forms part of the foreshore of Penguin, a Bass Strait town where a sandy beach meets a compact community recreation area. The giant penguin landmark, fenced playground and picnic setting make the waterfront practical for families, while public toilets and accessible facilities are available nearby. Cafés and a bakery are close to the foreshore for a simple break. Little penguins return at dusk, so visitors should keep their distance, remain quiet and avoid bright lights.
