Murdochs Beach
Murdochs Beach is a remote sandy shore on Tasmania’s north-east coast, beside the Ringarooma River mouth and the Lower Ringarooma wetland system. Part of the beach is associated with a Ramsar-listed wetland, with mobile dunes inland and important shorebird and seagrass habitat near the river entrance. Its undeveloped character suits quiet coastal walks and nature observation.
