Maurouard Beach
Maurouard Beach is a long sandy shoreline near St Helens, set beyond the Peron Dunes and exposed to the Tasman Sea. A moderate walk of about an hour return begins at the Peron Dunes car park and crosses rolling dunes to the coast, making the area appealing for beach walking and exploration. Because the shore faces open ocean, anyone considering a swim should assess wind, waves and shoreline conditions on the day.
