Lillico Beach

Lillico Beach is a pebbly coastal strip about ten minutes west of Devonport in north-west Tasmania. It sits within the protected coastal setting of Lillico Beach Conservation Area and is known for its little-penguin colony. A viewing platform supports seasonal wildlife watching, generally from September to April; visitors should avoid bright torches and camera flash. Beach access is available, but the shoreline is best treated as a quiet nature-watching place, with people keeping clear of penguin colonies.
