Garie Beach

Garie Beach is a broad sandy ocean shore within Royal National Park, framed by cliffs, coastal heath and rainforest gullies. It is used for swimming, surfing, beach fishing, walking and seasonal whale watching, and is one of the park’s most distinctive coastal settings. Conditions can change along this exposed coast, and patrol coverage is not continuous, so visitors should consider local warnings and their own experience before entering the water.
