Dianas Beach
Dianas Beach is a long sandy stretch near Beaumaris on Tasmania’s east coast, running north for about three kilometres to Dianas Basin. Visitors can reach it from the Paddy’s Island car park, a footbridge near Crockers Arm Creek, or picnic areas beside the basin. The surrounding water is used for swimming, fishing and canoeing, while the coast also forms part of a scenic walking landscape. When the basin mouth opens, strong tidal currents may occur, and the beach is unpatrolled, so conditions should be assessed carefully before entering the water.
